This is a good spot for French press with a really good burr grinder, a scale, and great beans. Some people prefer the texture of paper-filter coffee, so high-end brewer is an easy alternative.

One variation is to find a French Press where the vessel is a double walled metal carafe. This helps with heat retention and, as a bonus, will not break.
