Pour-overs

Pour-overs are a popular manual coffee prep method, and they provide you with a great deal of control over the coffee that you produce. A lot of them are relatively cheap, small, and light-weight, and make the highest level of drip coffee. The downside is that you may need more equipment than you already own, and you make each batch with technique and attention, so, the quality of your coffee will increase with practice, but it will always require you to be an active participant. In some ways, it becomes more of a ritual, which is fun on a Sunday, but might not be for everyone on a rushed Tuesday morning.
