Aeropress is a really good brewer for travel because it is durable and makes great coffee with any hot water (like a microwave). There are also grinders that fit inside the cavity of the plunger, so it takes up little space overall.

Other options that will also make this level of coffee are a high-quality drip machine which will handle a bit more labor for you, or French Press, if you prefer a higher volume brewer with a metal filter.
